Make the Truth Easy to Verify
One website can make a claim. Durable visibility begins when the wider web can independently corroborate who a business is, what it does, and why it belongs in the answer.

“The work should leave the business stronger than we found it.” |
What are we actually building for our clients?
Last month we talked a lot about what we are building: cleaner entities, stronger systems, better diagnostics, and tools that help agencies know what to do next.
This month I want to answer the more important question: why does any of that matter long term?
A client should not be paying us month after month just to keep a fragile collection of tactics alive. The work should leave the business stronger than we found it. Their website should be clearer. Their business information should agree across the web. Their supporting assets should be organized and owned. Their claims should be easier to verify. And the systems we build should continue creating value after the original task is complete.
That is the shift we keep coming back to inside Team Human. We are not trying to make AI sound certain about a business. We want AI systems to have better reasons to be certain.
Make the truth easy to verify.
That principle connects almost everything we are working on right now—from Entity Veracity Hub and Surge V3 to the cleanup work happening for clients in the real world.

This Month’s Core Idea
“One website is a claim. Multiple independent websites agreeing is validation.”
— Daryl Osborne, Creator of Surge V3

Meet the Team

Daryl Osborne
Valleytec Digital Solutions • Creator of Surge V3
Why this matters in August: Daryl’s work this month connects corroboration, crawler visibility, and the practical question behind this issue: what evidence can machines actually see and verify?
|
One Website Is a Claim. Multiple Websites Agreeing Is Validation.
Here is something most business owners get wrong about AI search: they think the job is convincing Google, ChatGPT, or Perplexity. So they rewrite the homepage, add some schema, and wait.
But your own website is still first-party evidence. It matters, but it is also you talking about you. Independent corroboration gives an AI system more evidence to resolve what is true about the entity.
The practical reframe: Your website is the anchor. The wider web is where the facts about your business are confirmed—or contradicted. |
|
Write the facts once
Business name, address, phone, website, services, positioning.
|
|
Search your own entity
Review the first results and compare every important fact.
|
|
Fix contradictions first
Old numbers, old addresses, dropped services, inconsistent naming.
|
|
Add better corroboration
Prioritize authoritative sources over sheer mention volume.
|
Two accurate corroborating sources can be more useful than twenty sloppy ones.
Daryl uses an Axis Corroboration Map to think about how close supporting sources sit to the trusted core of the web—from major institutions and authoritative hubs to increasingly distant sources. The lesson is simple: quality and proximity to trusted sources matter more than chasing raw volume.
Nobody can promise an AI citation. What we can do is remove contradictions, strengthen independent evidence, and make it easier for machines—and people—to understand the same business the same way.

Client Work in Action
P&S Plumbing: entity cleanup before amplification
What we found
P&S Plumbing joined us in July. Surge V3 surfaced website areas where content was missing, while the broader entity review revealed the kind of cleanup work that needs to happen before an entity is amplified.
| Supporting-site verification |
| Nomenclature discrepancies |
|
What we’re doing now
The team is adding missing pages, organizing the business’s digital assets, verifying supporting sites, and reconciling naming inconsistencies so the entity presents a cleaner, more coherent set of facts across the web.
Why it matters: amplification works better when the underlying entity is coherent first.
|
Our operating principle: Diagnose first. Repair what is broken. Amplify only after the foundation is trustworthy. |
|
|
|
Community + Client Wins
TexDDS: stable visibility after the rebuild
The new Texas Defensive Driving School site went live at the end of June. Through July we have continued to see visibility move upward and, just as importantly, remain stable.
It is still early, so we are watching the trend rather than declaring a finish line. But stable improvement is exactly what we want to see after rebuilding the underlying foundation.
|
Team Human in the wild: Eugene, Oregon
While passing through Eugene, Kalyn had the chance to catch up with agency owner Christopher Browning.
Sometimes Team Human looks like strategy sessions and training calls. And sometimes it simply looks like stopping to see someone when the road brings you through their town.

What We’re Building • SIAI Secure Intake
Stop playing musical emails.
SIAI Secure Intake is officially live. Dekker built it to give client information, documents, and entity evidence one organized home instead of scattering the working record across inboxes and message threads.
One source of intake truth
Before asking a client for something again, the team can check what has already been supplied. New documents and requested information can go back into the same structured intake.
|
Built for people + agents
Validated Markdown and JSON exports can turn the client-supplied record into structured material for human review and AI-assisted research—such as checking NAP consistency or comparing services and positioning across platforms.
|
First real-world run
Steve with Big Dawg Dumpsters is the first client taking Intake through a full live run. Because this is the first real-world use, we expect to learn from the workflow and refine it as the team uses it.
|
Put it into the real world. Pay attention. Learn. Improve.
|
|
|
The Evidence Lifecycle
From client truth to public corroboration
1. Capture
Secure Intake organizes the first-party record: facts, documents, assets, and client-supplied evidence.
|
2. Diagnose + Repair
EVH Health Clinic / Pre-Flight finds contradictions and cleanup needs before amplification starts.
|
3. Corroborate + Measure
Surge and supporting research test what is visible, verifiable, and independently supported across the wider web.
|
|

What We’re Building • Entity Veracity Hub
Answer-engine evidence is moving into the entity workflow
A major July change in Entity Veracity Hub was bringing brand-only entity keyword data from the answer engines themselves into the workflow. Before deciding what an entity needs, we want to see how those systems already understand—or fail to understand—the brand.
Answer-engine data
Brand-only entity keyword data is pulled from the answer-engine sources we monitor so the team can inspect the entity before choosing the next action.
|
Health Clinic = Pre-Flight Checklist
The Health Clinic is now part of the Command Center step-by-step. It acts as the pre-flight checklist that tells us whether the entity needs cleanup first.
|
Then: Surge Quick Wins
The goal is to avoid wasting time on amplification when unresolved entity problems would weaken the work.
|
|
Health Clinic / Pre-Flight
Assess the entity first and determine whether cleanup is required before anything is amplified.
|
|
Diagnose
Identify contradictions, ownership problems, missing evidence, nomenclature issues, and structural gaps.
|
|
Clean Up
Repair the entity foundation so the public evidence presents a more coherent and verifiable picture.
|
|
Surge Quick Wins
Only then move into amplification and measurable opportunities instead of pushing against unresolved problems.
|
|
|
|
What We’re Building • Surge V3
Better measurement—and better honesty about what was actually measured
Some of the most important July work in Surge V3 happened below the surface: better measurement accuracy, more stable scanning, and stronger honesty gates.
Measurement accuracy
PageSpeed Insights is now a measured source for performance and UX. URL classification, navigation extraction, schema detection, and entity-reference signals were also strengthened.
|
Honesty gates
If a sub-page cannot actually be fetched, Surge now reports not measured instead of turning a failed scan into false certainty. JS-rendered schema verdicts and rich-result claims were also corrected.
|
More accessible
Users can now purchase additional Surge credits directly, with the new credit-purchase workflow moving from infrastructure into a practical part of the product experience.
|
A useful diagnostic system should not just find more things. It should know when it doesn’t know.
That is an AI principle we care about far beyond Surge: distinguish evidence from inference, and inference from absence of evidence.

The Living Office
Different destination. Same mission.
August takes the Team Human living office from Seaside, Oregon north on Highway 101, around Washington’s Olympic Peninsula, and—if the road cooperates—into the Bremerton, Washington area by month’s end.
The route is different. The operating principle is not: build systems, support members, help businesses grow, and use technology to amplify people rather than replace them.
| Seaside, OR → US-101 → Olympic Peninsula → Bremerton, WA |

Upcoming Live Training
Two calls this month. They’re worth showing up for.
Recordings are valuable backups. They are not always substitutes for being in the room.
Move 37 Mastermind
11:30 AM PDT “The Page AI Actually Sees” — Crawler View vs. Human View
Daryl is taking us underneath the rendered page to look at the difference between what a person sees and what a crawler can actually access, interpret, and use.
If you skipped July because you planned to watch the recording later, you missed more than the live conversation.
Daryl gave the members who actually showed up access to valuable DRET software and supporting assets that are not available anywhere else—tools that made the process much easier to understand and implement. The training was recorded. The full experience wasn’t. |
|
Local Agency Elite Training
11:30 AM–12:30 PM PDT Entity Veracity Hub and Surge V3 (Beta) — Putting It All Together!
A practical session on how the entity-verification and diagnostic workflows connect—from Health Clinic pre-flight and cleanup through Surge execution and corroboration.
|
We only hold two primary training calls each month. Mark them on your calendar and make live attendance the plan. Tools, assets, demonstrations, conversations, and other benefits may happen in the room that cannot be recreated by pressing play later. |

Share What’s Working
Two ways to bring good people into the circle
The best introductions usually come from people who already know the work. This month we opened two referral opportunities—one for current clients and one for students/members.
|
Current Clients
Refer a business. Earn a $500 credit.
If a business you refer becomes a client, we’ll apply a $500 credit to your account.
If someone comes to mind who would benefit from entity cleanup, reconstruction, AI-search visibility work, or the systems we’re building, make the introduction.
|
|
Students + Members
Bring someone into the training community.
Refer a new student and you can earn one free month of membership. The referred student also receives an onboarding discount on month two.
Fine print: the referring student’s free month is earned once the referred student remains a member for at least six months.

Coffee With Team Human
Where does your business disagree with itself online?
Search your business name and look at the first twenty results. What do those pages say your name is? Your address? Your phone number? Your services?
If you find contradictions, do not rush to create more content. Start by fixing what is already wrong.
A simple August challenge
1. Write down your canonical business facts. 2. Search your business name and review the first 20 results. 3. Mark every important contradiction you find. 4. Fix those contradictions before chasing new mentions or corroborating sources.
If you discover something surprising, bring it back to the community. Those are exactly the kinds of real-world findings Team Human is built to learn from.
